Getting to the Isle of Coll…
The Isle of Coll lies between Mull and Tiree in the Inner Hebrides. You will need to make your way to Oban from where you can take a ferry or plane to Coll.
Ferries to Coll
The ferry service to Coll is run by Caledonian MacBrayne. During the summer months (March – October) there is a daily service with crossings taking just under three hours. The ferry to Coll also services the neighbouring island of Tiree.
The ferries to Coll get booked up very quickly during the summer months and school holidays. If you are bringing a car, it is strongly advised to book the ferry well in advance of your visit.
Flying to Coll
Getting to Coll by plane is now possible too. Hebridean Air Services fly from Connel Airport, which is just outside Oban. There is a scheduled service on Wednesdays and the flight takes just under half an hour. The Airport is in the west end of Coll approximately five miles from Arinagour.
